Blog Post #4

1.        " The house was anything but awesome.  The bungalow was easily the oldest property on Wrightsville Beach and sandwiched between two massive homes that had gone up within the last ten years, making it seem even more diminutive. The paint was peeling, the roof was missing numerous shingles. and the porch was rotting; it wouldn't surprise him if thee next decent storm blew it over."
This is a description of the beach house where The Last Song takes place. It helps me understand how the house looks: old.  I can picture it on the beach, and the characters talking and experiencing the story there.

2.       I feel like the character Ronnie wouldn't be able to control her temper if she dealt with the pressures of my life.  She would yell at my parents and probably not keep up with school.  For her future, she wouldn't put much thought into it unless it had to do with her boyfriend, Will, because she's worried about what will happen when he goes off to college and she goes back to her mom's house in New York.  She gave up her oppurtunity to go to Julliard to tick off her parents, so I feel like she wouldn't really care about doing good in school or going to after school activities, because she doesn't think about her future.  She just likes to make her parents mad.
